Controller

Since 1913, we’ve been a leader in manufacturing of DC motors, windshield wipers, hand tools, and solenoids, and we’re just getting started. Owned by private equity since 2021 and with rapid growth on the horizon, we’re looking for a Controller to help us grow. If you’re passionate about manufacturing finance, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a role when you’re consolidating income statements one day and helping the ops team review their inventory costing process the next, this could be the role for you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead plant financial operations at our Oregon facility as well as corporate consolidation.
  • Own inventory & cost accounting and drive accuracy across the board.
  • Lead the annual audit process with confidence and authority.
  • Supervise and mentor four direct reports, including the IT Manager and an accounting manager at our Wisconsin facility.
  • Leverage Microsoft Business Central to streamline financial systems and reporting.
  • Navigate a high-growth environment with agility and precision.
  • semblies, assemblies, accessories and finished goods according to work instructions, engineering prints, and bills-of-material.
  • Assemble packaging and pack products into appropriate packaging according to customer or internal standards.
  • Maintain standard production throughput rates and production quality control measures for each workstation.
  • Accurately maintain electronic and/or written records, and transmit all data related to a work order per company processes and procedures.

  • Proficiency with modern ERP systems, excel, AI-enabled tools (e.g., Corpay, Bill.com, Ramp), and other advanced technology integrations; Microsoft Business Central experience is a major plus.
